People can write just about anything they have in mind in their blogs, but for businesses, they can be used as a competitive advantage, and even showcase their products, to be sold online. Blogs can be used for advertising, through feedbacks and recommendations from customers and other business owners. Not only that, but the entrepreneurs themselves can display and sell their products online through blogs. For example, Wix offers an option to make a blog which is business oriented.

2.) Photo Editing
Do you have a new product no one knows about? Need to get some attention? Then, advertising would be the typical answer... but what if you have a low budget? Then look no more, and go find yourself some photo editing sites! Be creative, and make your business *look* outstanding by logging in to these sites. They're easy to use and best of all, they're free!
People these days don't really have the patience to actually read stuff... but with brand new ways of 'presenting' your business, or whatever you want to present, listening and reading what you have is now much more interesting! Imagine yourself presenting a proposal to a potential business partner... how will you do it? Power Point is the usual thing... and what they would expect, but if you create your presentation with Prezi, or maybe Issuu, then you'd definitely create an impression.
Aside from that, you can present these to potential customers. Not only would they enjoy such presentation, but they would think that you're keeping up with time, and such image will most likely increase chances of mutual agreement to whatever you are offering.
4.) File Sharing
Oh no! You forgot your files at the office! Well, no problem, just run back there and get it,or call someone to bring it over... that's what you'd do if you were not in the other side of the globe in a business trip... but, hey, what's this? You can send over files via the net? Well, with sites like dropbox, you can send and share files to other users. In a business perspective, you can share important files with workmates or your boss even if you're very far apart. Very convenient in doing business even if you're simply relaxing at home or in a vacation.
Looks like schoolwork and officework is not so far off from each other. More or less, you will be in a team when you enter the corporate world. Though, let's say you want to go home already, but you still have to finish a certain 'plan' with your team. Well, you can work on it together with these sites.
6.) Management References
Tips, information,current trends... these are some of the things that you can easily search for in the net, and you can also use it to your advantage as a business man. There is an abundant number of sites that you can utilize in order to be used for important decisions, there are also those you can use in order to improve your current system... but in general, you can take advantage of the internet to obtain useful information on management and other aspects of the business.
